The MCP proteins are members of the CC chemokine family that signal through CCR2 and, with the exception of MCP-1, other CCR receptors. The MCP proteins chemoattract and activate monocytes, activated T cells, basophils, NK cells, and immature dendritic cells. The MCP family cross-reacts across species.

The BioGems Murine JE/MCP-1 Pre-Coated ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is a solid phase immunoassay specially designed to measure JE/MCP-1 with a 96-well strip plate that is pre-coated with mouse monoclonal antibody specific for JE/MCP-1. It contains E. coli-expressed recombinant JE/MCP-1. The detection antibody is a biotinylated goat polyclonal antibody specific for JE/MCP-1. The kit is analytically validated with ready to use reagents.
