description

PD 98059 is a selective non-competitive inhibitor of the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase (MKK) by binding to the molecule’s inactivated form. It is reported to enhance the self-renewal of embryonic stem cells and block the osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells.
