description

LDN193189 is a dorsomorphin derivative and potent BMP pathway inhibitor. It is reported to inhibit bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) type I receptors ALK1, ALK2, ALK3, and ALK6. LDN193189 is useful for the promotion of specific cell differentiation and the study of ectopic ossification. The salt-based form of LDN193189 has higher solubility in DMSO than LDN193189 (cat# 1062443).
