Hydroxychloroquine sulfate
Catalog Number : 7473646
description
Hydroxychloroquine sulfate is a synthetic quinolyl derivative that is commonly used as an antimalarial agent. It is reported to increase lysosomal pH in antigen presenting cells, inhibit autophagy and block toll-like receptors on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (PDCs). Hydroxychloroquine sulfate reduces the activation of dendritic cells and the inflammatory process. It is currently being researched as a potential treatment for COVID-19.
