description

DMOG is a cell permeable Prolyl 4-hydroxylase (P4H) inhibitor which activates the hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) in cultured cells. DMOG is reported to delay neuronal cell death caused by trophic factor deprivation through a HIF-1 alpha-independent, glucose-dependent mechanism.
