description

DAPT is a potent inhibitor of the gamma-secretase complex, which is an internal protease that cleaves single-pass transmembrane proteins at residues within the transmembrane domain. DAPT also indirectly inhibits the Notch protein. It is reported promote neuronal differentiation and enhance the apoptosis of human tongue carcinoma cells.
