9-cis-Retinoic acid
Catalog Number : 5300380
description
9-cis-Retinoic acid is a potent activator of all isoforms of retinoic acid receptor and the retinoid X receptor, which act as transcription factors that regulate the growth and differentiation of normal and malignant cells.. It is reported to promote oligodendrocyte precursor cell differentiation and myelination and to also inhibit the synthesis of fatty acids and sterols in hepatocytes.
