Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord and a network of sensory cells called neurons. It also focuses on understanding, preventing, or curing neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic pain, Tourette syndrome, and epilepsy.
