The C9B7W monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD223, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as LAG-3. It is expressed by activated T cells, NK cells, and TReg cells and negatively regulates T cell activation. Cd223 binds to MHC class II at a higher affinity than CD4.
