Description

The HI149 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD1a, a 49kDA type I membrane glycoprotein. It is expressed on dendritic cells, Langerhans cells, and cortical thymocytes. CD1a plays a role in antigen presentation and ,like MHC Class I, it non-covalently associates with Beta2-microglobulin.

Human Molt4 cells were stained with FITC HI149 with relevant isotype controls in blue.

Preparation:	The product should be stored undiluted at 4°C and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze. The monoclonal antibody was purified utilizing affinity chromatography and unreacted dye was removed from the product.
